Finally got eggplant back. Been a rough couple weeks for it. None came in on the truck and I love HEB and get a bunch of fresh produce from there but they had a few days this week looking short also. Anyway HEB has come thru today and finally we got it back. Sorry to all who’ve been in this week looking for it.

In the next 4 to 6 weeks, Joe's Italian will close and reopen as Benny's. I and several of our regular customers are very excited about this change. Initially, Benny's will be focused on fixing up the best Boudin and Cracklins on this side of the Mississippi River. Slowly we will be introducing other Cajun staples like Jambalaya, Red Beans & Rice, and Gumbo along with Homemade smoked sausages and specialty meats.
