Today at Quinci Emporium, we gathered around the table to celebrate something far greater than a date on the calendar. Mother’s Day is a beautiful reminder to honor all the women in our lives: mothers, grandmothers, mentors, and friends who have guided us, challenged us, and shaped the people we are today.

Between the laughter and the clinking of glasses, we felt the profound impact of the legacies being passed down through every story shared.

To everyone who joined us for lunch: thank you for bringing your warmth to our space. And to all the women who lead with love and strength, today and every day, we toast to you. 🥂💐

10 Years of Convivio

For a decade, Quinci has been more than a shop; it has been a place of Convivio. It is a word that represents inclusion, love, and humanity. It is the spirit I learned from my grandmother, Antonietta, and the Sicilian heritage I carry with me every day.

This weekend, we celebrated ten years of this dream with a room full of friends, endless flows of bollicine, crisp arancini, and the sweetness of cannoli.

To this community: thank you for trusting my heart and for accepting a piece of my culture with such grace. Here is to the next ten years at the table.

From the rolling hills of Piedmont to the volcanic soils of Sicily, our “Wines We Love” tasting was a true journey across Italy. We poured our hearts (and glasses) into the diverse landscapes of the north and south, featuring standout bottles from Pico Maccario, Tenuta Principe Alberico, and Terrazze dell’Etna.

One of our absolute favorites, the Carusu from Terrazze dell’Etna, has returned to our shelves. This is a must-have for anyone who loves Sicilian wine.

Carusu, which means “boy” in Sicilian dialect, is a youthful yet elegant red that perfectly captures the unique terroir of Mount Etna.
