Thank you Madison County Fair - Nebraska to let us be part of this amazing fair 🫶❤️

As the sun sets over the fairgrounds tonight it brings the 2026 Madison County Fair to a close.

To everyone who walked through the gates, cheered in the grandstands, sang along at the concerts, attended and supported 4-H events and enjoyed our unique fair food. The Madison County Ag Society wants to extend a massive thank you to our incredible community for making the 2026 Fair one for the record books.

​As many of you know, this year threw a few curveballs our way, and we faced some unexpected challenges behind the scenes. But true to form, our dedicated board members and their families stepped up, took on every single obstacle head-on, and worked tirelessly to ensure the show went on without a hitch. We couldn't be prouder of their hard work to put on a truly great fair for all of you!

All the hard work is worth it when we see the grounds packed, smiles on the kids faces and families spending time together. We hope you all enjoyed the 2026 Madison County Fair and Rodeo!

We already can not wait for next years fair. Mark your calendars for July 6th-11th 2027!

Today is July 4th.

"But you weren't born here, what do you celebrate?" Maybe that's today's question. My answer is simple: I celebrate opportunities.

I wasn't born in this country. I am not a citizen. But I learned that gratitude does not depend on the place where you were born, but on the doors that life puts in your path.

Although today are difficult times, although many immigrant families are living in fear and uncertainty, that does not erase the fact that this country has given an opportunity to millions of people, including me.

You can deeply love the country where you were born, miss it every day and, at the same time, thank the country that allowed you to start over. One thing will never cancel the other.

Today I celebrate opportunities, hope and the possibility of building a better future. Because gratitude also deserves a place.

Hoy es 4 de julio.
“Pero no naciste aquí, ¿qué celebras?” Quizás esa sea la pregunta de hoy. Mi respuesta es sencilla: celebro las oportunidades.

No nací en este país. No soy ciudadana. Pero aprendí que la gratitud no depende del lugar donde naciste, sino de las puertas que la vida pone en tu camino.

Aunque hoy sean tiempos difíciles, aunque muchas familias inmigrantes estén viviendo con miedo e incertidumbre, eso no borra el hecho de que este país les ha dado una oportunidad a millones de personas, incluyéndome.

Se puede amar profundamente el país donde naciste, extrañarlo todos los días y, al mismo tiempo, agradecer al país que te permitió empezar de nuevo. Una cosa nunca va a cancelar la otra.

Hoy celebro las oportunidades, la esperanza y la posibilidad de construir un mejor futuro. Porque la gratitud también merece un lugar.
