To all our good friends and family, "We" have decided we can't do both, the CPA firm and Chef's as well as we want to. So, just as Johnny Mercer wrote, Sumthin's Gotta Give... And as much as there's a part of Chef's memories of the last 40 years in each of us, the decision had to be made to do what we know how to do best. The old "survival of the fittest" routine. Yesterday was “our Chef’s” last day open. Regret the short notice but when reality set in; there just wasn’t going to be a better time.

Happy Turkey Day to All! My Mom took food over to the local orphanage (Now you know how old this story is) in the town where she had her restaurant and was answered at the door by a young girl. Who after an embrace, proudly announced they had had macaroni and cheese for Thanksgiving. So, there really is always something to be thankful for. May everyone be warm, safe and happy.
