We love to kick off a tasting menu with a crudo- raw fish is a fantastic canvas for the fresh, vibrant flavors that you expect from the first course, and luckily for us, asparagus loves to showcase these flavors as well. This weekend only we will be featuring golden tilefish as the choice catch- it’s rich buttery flesh pairs perfectly with the vibrant green asparagus it accompanies- but today marks the start of striped bass season in NY state- and chef can’t wait to get his hands on those for next week! Come in this weekend to try the golden tilefish before it’s gone!

Our local asparagus tasting menu is off to a great start, featuring asparagus from and , as well as some of the legendary asparagus from Hadley, MA! This versatile vegetable is so much more than a side dish- it’s a star- and each course on the tasting reflects a unique texture and flavor. The first bite may not be listed on the menu, but it’s certainly worth mentioning here! Our asparagus tartlette features a whipped asparagus mousse, made from all the scraps and peelings, topped with pickled asparagus spears, smoked trout roe, chervil, and kombu oil. A refreshing and satiating bite that hints at the verdant freshness and flavor to come! We still have some room tonight and this weekend- book your table now!

The wait is finally over! As the fields in and around Concord begin to wake up, we are thrilled to announce the return of our most anticipated springtime event: our local asparagus tasting menu!

For two weeks only, (Tuesday 5/12 to Saturday 5/23), we will be offering a four course menu centered around the first (and arguably best) of spring’s bounties, all sourced from local farms and friends. Local asparagus has such a short window, and we’ve been waiting for the right moment to pounce. Chef Gavin has put together a menu that captures the magical diversity of flavors and textures that asparagus exhibits, and each course aims to coax out a different characteristic and profile from the great green grass.

Some other things to know:

-The menu is four courses + an amuse bouche, and costs $115 per person.
-Not all members of your reservation need to participate in the tasting menu.
-We will also be offering a condensed a la carte menu if you are not interested in the tasting. HOWEVER: tasting menu dishes will not be available to order à la carte.
-Tasting menu dishes can be modified to accommodate most dietary restrictions and allergies within reasons! P note if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions when making your reservation- so that chef and team have time to prepare the necessary substitutions :)

Local lolligo squid season is here, and it couldn’t have come at a better time! We love getting fresh off the boat squid from - salty, sweet, tender, and the perfect vessel for fresh flavors! Our grilled squid salad features plenty of tubes and tentacles for all, tossed in a lime vinaigrette with snow peas and shoots, mint, cilantro, and scallions, and plated atop a velvety ramp and green curry coulis. And of course, crunchy shallots on top!

April showers bringing you down? Don’t worry, May is right around the corner, and we have a delicious bowl of soup to warm you on this chilly damp spring eve. Parsnips are here from Applefield farm, and they are all over our menu! However, these dirt candies needed their very own showcase in which to shine: enter our spring dug parsnip soup! Technically a veloute made with chicken stock, caramelized onions, fennel, miso, and heavy cream, the soup is garnished with tender roasted chunks of pork belly, a green garlic chimichurri, and crispy parsnip chips. Come warm up with a bowl tonight!

Living in New England requires serious optimism when it comes to the weather! We may be experiencing bright sunshine and warmth right now, but who knows what tomorrow (or the next fifteen minutes!) will bring… that’s why we are always welcoming warm flavors that remind us of summertime- like our grilled bluefish with roasted sweet potato, bright aji Amarillo and hibiscus, herbaceous chermoula, and fresh greens and herbs.
