We’re doing GREAT so far! Here’s an update for anyone ordering tonight:

Plenty of Reuben’s, Rachel’s, Turkey Bacon Applebutter’s, Roast Beef

LOTS of grilled veggies! Sides, wraps, salads

Good amount of Italians, but the pesto for the Presto is still LOW.

TWO Cubans left

FOUR steak

NO BYO ham sandwiches

NO Buffalo Chicken Soup

Chili is getting low, had a few takers on the quarts! I’ll freeze any leftover and sell next week if you’re interested.

PORK is getting low for sandwiches, nachos, totchos.

Chicken salads are available!!

GUYS. I can’t believe this is the last day. I’m heartbroken. The way you’ve all shown up this past 3 weeks has been amazing. Thank you. It’s been rough, ya’ll love these sandwiches, and I’m exhausted 😂😅 It was exhilarating to feel the pressure of the crazy days we had years ago. I hope I was able to give you a last meal or 2 or 3! One more chance left Friday… today? Idk it’s late 🤪 I tried like hell to stay stocked on everything, but with one day left there will be shortages. Here’s what to expect:

The Buffalo Chicken soup is LOW. Maybe 2-3 quarts left? I’m not 100% sure what I’m doing with the recipe, but I have some ideas… stay tuned.

Lots of chili. I made it today and have ~2 gallons available.

Some days ya’ll eat 15 steak items, some days 2… I have 12 portions available for Friday.

Pesto for the Presto and Caprese is LOW.

Maybe 3-4 Summer Gatherers left, but you can order the Winter Gatherer, too!

I made BIG batches of spicy mayo, hot sauce and ranch, quarts are available. I didn’t count how many 😅

Pork is limited to 10lbs. Do with that what you will.

Do you LOVE my pickle chips as much as my daughter? Cuz she might be able to eat the rest of the 5 gallon bucket but I’m willing to sell quarts of them so she doesn’t turn into a pickle (Emelia 😉)

Reuben’s and Roast Beef’s are good to go, gimme your best shot.

That’s about all my brain cared to store for this post. BUT, I’ll probably open next week for a few hours on Friday to sell any remaining smaller items.

LOCAL RESTAURANTS- I’ll sell you some sealed unused products CHEAP, keep an eye out here and/or message me.

Bec’s gonna hang out after her shift at Olde World, she’s been around for some rough times so I’m grateful to have her for the end. Hi everyone, all the love and support has been comforting, thank you. This summer has been difficult business wise. The nearly tripled increase in demand after our announcement has my very small crew stretched a bit thin. We are working hard to restock, prep, and give you all one last meal. When our OPEN sign is on and our phone line is answered, we are prepared to meet that demand. If you encounter the opposite, please know we are trying our very hardest. Thank you for the support and understanding these last few weeks.

Hey everyone, Jill here. I know I'm not around on Facebook much, I'm more of a behind the scenes kind of person. I'd like to address the rumors and make a formal announcement that Kickstand is indeed closing and our last day of service will be Friday October 30th.

This all started almost exactly 10 years ago. October 12th 2016 I purchased the property, planned, renovated, had my 3rd child (shout out Mags!), and we opened our doors June 24th 2018. I've been in food service since I was 16, I'm now 41. The closure of "my own place" holds more weight than I care to admit. Every compliment breaks my heart and repairs it in the same moment.

Thank you. Thank you to the regulars, whom I might not know your face or even your name, but I certainly know your orders. Thank you to the tourists, I have a whole log book of kind messages and support. Thank you to my employees, past & present. You all taught me so much about life, human beings, and kindness; and have such bright futures, please keep me in the loop!! Thank you to Jeremy, who may not be finishing this with me, but was the TRUE heart and soul of Kickstand and deserves all the recognition for his dedication and our food. He got A LOT of "best Reuben ever" compliments. Thank you to my parents, for basically everything and then some, I hope I've made you proud. Thank you to Denise, we met designing my home kitchen and she ended up designing Kickstand Kitchen. From professional contact to business collaborator to cherished friend. Thank you to the city of Connellsville and the Great Allegheny Passage, its been a long ride, thank you for the support. Thank you and good luck to all my fellow neighboring restaurant owners. Hoping my closure brings you ALL the business you can handle. If you ever need a hand, reach out.

Last but not least, thank you to my kiddos. You three were the reason for opening and are the reason for closing. Thank you for your sacrifice, I intend to make up for every moment missed.

Our hours until closing are Tuesday-Saturday 11am-7pm, with a small exception for Saturday October 17th where we'll be open for lunch only, 11-3.
