Lillian is spending the summer in Corning while completing an internship with POET, and for the past few months she’s been our faithful 6:30 a.m. Friday customer.

With only two weeks left before she heads back home to South Carolina, we wanted to say thank you for making Backgrounds part of your routine. Hearing you say that you’ve visited coffee shops all over and that this one is your favorite truly means more than you know.

It’s people like Lillian who make this little coffee shop so special. Thank you for choosing to spend your Friday mornings with us—we’re going to miss seeing your smiling face every week.
