Front Desk/Housekeeping Position: $20/hr
The Cornish Inn is seeking a part time, seasonal worker to assist our manager with all aspects of front desk and housekeeping services. The position will be Tuesday, Wednesday and one weekend day to be determined. Hours begin at 8am and go till 5pm but may sometimes include remaining at the inn until after 5pm for guests needs. Staff member will be responsible for after-hours/on call services on the days they are scheduled.
The staff member should be very comfortable using computers, and enjoy interacting with people in person and on the phone. They should also be able to lift up to 50 lbs to assist with housekeeping/laundry and carrying guests luggage up and down stairs if needed. Staff member will also be responsible for putting out the coffee while also maintaining the coffee bar from 8am to 10am when they will then reset it for the next morning. The staff member will report directly to the inn manager. The right candidate must be able to follow direction and implement inn policy with care, and know when to ask for assistance.
