Earlier this year, we made the difficult decision to sell KimHoa’s Kitchen. Finding a buyer was challenging mostly because we wanted someone who can continue the 30 year legacy that our parents started. Our friends came forward and are now the proud owners of KimHoa’s Kitchen. We’ve spent an extensive amount of time passing the recipes and techniques to them and are pleased with what they are doing with it.

With changes comes evolution. Working with our friends, it is evident that a rebrand is necessary to meet the needs of the growing community while still keeping the legacy alive. Moving forward, KimHoa’s will be called KH Pho & Grill. They are excited to continue to serve the Corvallis community with our delicious food and adding some new savory dishes as well. Hi valued guests! It has been a long time since our last post. We wanted to reach out and let everyone know of the changes to our hours of operation. Due to a significant shortage of staff, we are necessarily reducing our hours in order to help offer the service standards that we aim to provide. We hope to see you in for a visit soon and appreciate your understanding as we work through these challenges.

Hi valued guests! We are happy to announce that after much thought and planning, we will be opening back up for sit down service on Monday, April the 5th.

In reflection of the this past year and all the implications we had to consider regarding COVID, we feel truly blessed! You all have been so supportive of our business and of our family during this uncertain time. There were several occasions where we thought we were not going to make it. You’ve kept us going with your visits and your words of support. So we want to take this opportunity to say Thank You! What a great community we get the privilege to be part of!

We are happy to announce that we’ve completed our quarantine and have performed an additional deep clean for good measure. We will resume our take-out service tomorrow, Monday, December the 28. We look forward to seeing our valued guests again!

Dear Valued Guests,

It has been quite some time since our last post. We have been blessed and fortunate to stay in operation during this time and we have the support of our guests and our staff to thank for that. During that time we have put the safety and well-being of our guests and our staff at the very front of all our considerations.

With that in mind, we were very recently notified that there has been a significant risk of exposure to someone who has recently tested positive to COVID-19 passing through our facility. For this reason we are immediately suspending our operation for a CDC-recommended two week quarantine.

We hope that you can understand our decision and how it was not made lightly. It is important that we do our part to slow the spread of this pandemic as much as we can. For that, we will be closed from tomorrow (12/11) through at least the Sunday after Christmas (12/27).

Please stay tuned for updates on our page regarding our eventual reopening date.

Update: extending our Take Out only operation

Our mission is to provide a wonderful dining experience to the local community, introducing delicious Asian cuisine that stems from our roots. That wonderful experience will only ever involve the safety of our staff and our customers. Seeing the resurgence of COVID cases, we feel that it is important that we extend our Take-Out only operation longer than we had anticipated.

Our apologies for the inconvenience you may experience. We hope to continue seeing you for a brief pick up and greetings! We hope that you continue to enjoy our delicious foods at home a little longer until this pandemic is under control. We will post updates on when our dining room will reopen.

As we are not medical professionals, we will rely on the guidance of those that are. Please be sure to continue socially distancing, wearing your mask in facilities, and all around staying safe.

Two updates:
* Dine-in service will be pushed back until August 3 (take-out service will continue)
* We will be closed July 2-12 to observe the holidays and assess our ingredient supply situation

After further consideration, we will push re-opening for dine-in service until August 3. We keep the safety of our staff and our customers as the #1 priority. With the cases of Covid on the rise again, we want to help ensure that safety by maintaining take-out only service in order to minimize any potential exposure. We will be closely watching the virus situation and continue following the guidance of the CDC. For this reason, please check back for updates in case our timing changes again.

We will be closed from July 2-12 to observe the nation’s Independence Day as well as to take the opportunity to assess and address our ingredient supply situation due to Covid. This will help us better understand and prepare for re-opening dine-in service in August.

We wish everyone a happy and safe Independence Day celebration in the coming couple of weeks!

Update: dine-in re-opening date delayed to July 6th

Our valued guests. We put your safety and that of our staff at the forefront of our decision to delay our re-opening for dine-in service. This decision does not come lightly but with a heavy heart. For that, we apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment you may experience.

We took into consideration our preparedness to welcome our staff back and, thereby, welcoming our guests back for dine-in service. Following, still, the guidance of the CDC and other medical experts.

We also took into consideration our ability to obtain adequate ingredients and supplies to make the food that our guests have come to love over the last 24 years.

Although our current operation has been an unfavorable financial impact to us, the safety of our staff and of our guests are not worth taking the risk of an unprepared re-opening. We ask you to continue allowing us to offer our services through take-out orders for a few more weeks.

June 1

After much consideration, we are delaying our dine-in opening to ensure we are properly prepared to deliver great services safely. Following the guidelines of the CDC and the Oregon Health Department, we will reopen at a limited capacity on June 1 to help continue our efforts with social distancing. Please call ahead to confirm seating is available. Take-out service will continue as usual.

Whether you are dining in or ordering take out, we hope to see you soon! Stay tuned for more updates on our services as we slowly and cautiously open for dine-in services.
