Twenty eight years ago, Memorial Day at one in the afternoon, Clarks got the green light to open after a nine month renovation. I will never forget putting “Clarks is OPEN” on the sign and watching the cars brake and pull in the driveway.

The sun is out already this Thursday morning. It’s going to be a beautiful day today. It’s chili day which means you can chose a big ol chili burger, which is an open face double patty burger smothered with chili, cheese and diced onions and a dollop of sour cream OR our chili dog with same OR a cup or a bowl. Come on out and enjoy.

We are still looking for a morning cook to open at 9 am, do prep for the day, cook breakfast from ten to eleven and then handle the grill until the afternoon evening cook comes in. We will train you. We will work with you if you only want a five hour shift, we can fill the later half with someone else. This job is Wednesday through Sunday currently. Come in and apply in person.

Well it’s really raining here in Artic today, Friday. We have great clam chowder on Fridays. If that isn’t enough to bring you out, we also have real little wild blackberry pie. We serve all our pies with our own ice cream. Come on out and enjoy.

We have been struggling for a couple of days because our phone lines have not been working. Century Link is supposed to be here tomorrow to fix the problem, but in the mean time when you call into Clarks the phone call will come through my grandson, Landon's phone. Please excuse us if it cuts out. Be extra patient please if you are calling in a togo order. The cell service is not great either.
