To Our Oakstone League Family ❤️🏐
One of the hardest parts of running our leagues isn't organizing schedules or maintaining the courts. It's making the call to cancel when Mother Nature throws us a curveball.
Whether it's severe weather, poor air quality, or excessive heat, these decisions are never made lightly. We carefully monitor forecasts, radar, air quality reports, and conditions throughout the day, always trying to balance player safety with everyone's desire to get out and play.
The truth is, we know that no matter what decision we make, it will impact someone's plans.
There have been times when we've made the decision too quickly, or had to make it so late that it gave teams little or no time to adjust their schedules. For that, we sincerely apologize. We know your time is valuable, and we understand the frustration that can come with last-minute changes.
Please know this:
Your safety will always be our #1 priority.
The management team at Oakstone is incredibly proud to have what we believe are the best league players in South Central Wisconsin. Your passion for volleyball is what has made our leagues such a special community, and we never take that for granted.
While we may not always make the perfect call, we promise every decision is made with one goal in mind: protecting our players while doing our best to keep everyone on the court whenever it's safe to do so.
