Bike With Mike Sat. June 6, 2026 @ 10am- Bike or Walk and Eat Tacos in a community celebration/fundraiser. Bike ride is estimated between 45 to 90 mins each way.

😇 All proceeds from this event will directly support the integrated mental health outpatient services provided by Community Alliance in Omaha.

🕙 The bike ride will start at the Wabash Trace trailhead, June 7th at 10am (registration open at 9am), and will go 10 miles to Tobey Jack's Steakhouse in Mineola, IA. Walkers can drive to Mineola and walk as much of the trail as they please.

🌮 At 11:30

am at an outdoor venue in Mineola, we will serve lunch and have a brief program.

❤️ ABOUT Bike with Mike

Mike Kutilek was an outgoing and healthy young man who enjoyed a number of outdoor activities, but he especially loved biking. He learned to ride a bike very early at age 3, and it just kept growing into long bike rides with friends on trails like the Wabash Trace. Mike especially loved the popular Wabash Trace "Taco Ride" on Thursday nights with friends and family. In Mike's late twenties he manifested mental illness and eventually passed away in May of 2020 at age 29. The Kutilek family experienced the hardships of dealing with mental illness for a loved one, and the need for mental health resources in the Omaha community. The family is organizing an event in Mike's honor that raises awareness and funds to help support Community Alliance, a local mental health organization that is having a significant impact in the community.

Stop by Mineola on Thursday, July 2, 2026, for the Mineola Patriotic Parade and kick off Independence Day celebrations in the heart of Mineola!

📍 Same location as the Bike with Mike event – Main Street, Mineola, Iowa
🕠 Parade Starts: 5 PM

Come enjoy an evening of small-town patriotism featuring:

Bring the whole family! Kids are invited to help pass out mini American flags, making this a fun and memorable event for all ages.

Thank you to everyone who rode, volunteered, donated and supported the 6th annual Bike with Mike. The energy, community and commitment to mental health awareness were truly inspiring.

Join us as we come together to honor Mike Kutilek's memory and support the important work of Community Alliance. Every registration helps Community Alliance provide services and support for individuals and families facing mental health and substance use challenges throughout our community.

The day is also filled with fun, fellowship and a few exciting chances to win big!

This photo features last year's grand prize winners, who enjoyed an unforgettable trip to Tampa Bay to watch the Buccaneers play.

This year, one lucky winner will have the chance to create their own NFL memory with another incredible Tampa Bay game experience, courtesy of Emily and Baker Mayfield and the Baker & Emily Mayfield Foundation. Grand prize raffle tickets can be purchased in Mineola. 1 ticket=$100 or 3 tickets=$250. Must be present to win.
