Stay where history lives. The Cottage House has a long and colorful history of serving travelers. The hotel began as a three-room cottage, built in 1867. Today we have 26 rooms in our historic hotel, 10 rooms in our motel unit, a Honeymoon Cottage and Hardaway Hideaway. The Cottage House is nestled in the Flint Hills. We have warm hospitality and victorian charm. We are 1 block north of Main Stre

et with many retail stores and restaurants in walking distance including Riverbank Brewing. As always, you are welcome to bring your own favorite snacks & beverages for your stay. Council Grove Marina Cove is 2-3 miles away where pontoons, canoes can be rented along with great fishing spots too!
