Cooking with the Blue was quite a success. Congrats to my little team of family, friends, and others for showing up and showing out. We cooked a 20 gallon jambalaya and only made it out of Mandeville with crumbs and a dinner time snack. Congrats to all the winners who put their best jambalaya out there and earned their paddle. To the VOLUNTEERS that make all this possible, I hope you enjoyed your lunch from Backyard Boiling and Jambalaya, it was our pleasure to take care of you all.

What else did you expect, of course it’s almost Father’s Day and we’re playing(can’t have this much fun and call it work)Pretty certain we finished off our crawfish season with a bang. 250 lbs of bugs with all the fixins and a kettle of our award winning chicken and sausage jambalaya. Backyard Boiling & Jambalaya for the win. A very special Happy Birthday to Capt. C.T. Williams. We were happy to provide the feast for your birthday party.
