Today is the Fountain County 4-H Livestock Auction at 4pm. I encourage any and all businesses to send a representative to the auction. If you can't go and you want to give a little on a certain 4-Her or just a blanket amount contact your town or township representative. Alexis Stalter Froedge is the Covington Merchant rep. Come out and support these kids.

You may recognize this face as Alexis Stalter Froedge's sidekick on a Friday and Saturday night. We want to wish our very own Kendall Shumaker good luck tonight at the Fountain County Queen Pagent.

Wrapping up our contestant introductions with Contestant #5, Kendall Shumaker!

Kendall is the 18-year-old daughter of Kenneth and Valli Shumaker of Covington. This fall, she will begin her freshman year at South Dakota State University, where she is pursuing a degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences. In her free time, Kendall enjoys spending time with friends, attending concerts, playing tennis or golf, and building Legos.

Overpass is looking for for a pizza maker. Must be at least 18. This position is for 3 to 4 days a week, weekends are a must but we are closed on Sundays and Mondays. Come by and grab an application Tuesday - Saturday 3-9pm.

When you hear one of the guys in the kitchen say "I think my sweat is sweating. " you know you have hit the unholy part of summer that makes working in a kitchen seem more like waiting at the gates of hell. It has been challenging but the crew trudged on and we had a fantastic week. So remember we are closed tomorrow to give our staff a great 3 day weekend. Happy 4th of July.
