🎉 Mardi Paws 2026, A Howliday Parade! 🐾
Today in Downtown Covington, LA, the annual Mardi Paws dog parade is rolling out at 2:00 PM! Starting near the Covington Police Department, pups and their humans are parading through the streets in festive costumes, from Santa Paws to spooky Halloween gear and more, celebrating the season with fun and flair. Registration for participating dogs opened at 12:30 PM, and those joining in are helping support local animal welfare efforts, including Scott’s Wish, a charity assisting people and pets in need. Whether you’re watching the parade route or marching with your own furry friend, it’s a tail-wagging good time for the whole community! 🐶✨

Yay! Love helping our sweet friends Wild Bush Farm + Vineyard… they are doing amazing things! ✨💪🏽🫶🏼

Taking advantage of some seasonal resources! We finally got some larger compost bins started using fallen leaves, biochar and coffee grounds from our friends at .oncolumbia This compost will be mostly used in our muscadine vineyard, and in the orchard for our blueberries, pears and mayhaws - one step toward keeping our inputs local, our soil alive, and our wine connected to the place it comes from.
