Had a blast having a conversation about culture and coffee at the Cincinnati Coffee Festival (Cincinnati Coffee Festival) this weekend!

Thank you to Alejandra Flores from Unataza for coordinating this panel. I've deeply respected what you do as a fellow woman owned cafe for many years.

It was also wonderful getting to meet some new shop owners who are doing very cool and unique things.

Sasi, from Layers & Flavors, is a vibrant woman who combines traditional Thai food and drink with a localized flair in Latonia.

Tez, from Fūl Café, opened his doors a few months ago and offers a unique experience rooted in Eritrean and Ethiopian culture in Lower Price Hill.

I love how community oriented and supportive our local cafe culture is in Cincinnati and how people like Alejandra elevate lesser heard voices!

We’ve been getting a lot of questions about our new name. What exactly does Fei 菲 mean? The answer is not as straightforward as you’d think (Fei can mean a lot of things depending on the context) But overall it communicates the concept of good smelling beverages and humility.
