I just wanted to quickly say thank you to our customer base, and our 5104 followers here, for the last amazing 3 years, let along this crazy day! Don't forget to check your boxes, there's $175 in gift certificates floating around out there...
June 12th 2023 I took possession of the building and started a year long renovation and build out, with the help of some close friends and my family. Without their assistance and motivation I'd have never gotten through it. There was a brief moment in January 2024 I thought of selling it all as progression wasn't happening.
June 16th 2024 we opened our doors, and it's been unreal ever since. All of you built a rock solid word of mouth foundation for our reputation. We still get new customers daily from far and wide, because you guys keep talking about us. You have made Six South successful.
I have been very fortunate in finding an amazing staff, there have been some who have stayed, some who have left us, some a couple times...and there's a lot of love between all of us. Past and present, it's not always unicorns and rainbows, sometimes Im persnickety or even prickish but we still care for each other a lot. Even the folks that have left us. Its a lot of sacrifice to work in the hospitality industry, things we want to do, things we want to see, time spent with the people we love all get pushed aside at one time or another...so all of the time spent here is appreciated more than I have the words to express.
Anyway, Im rambling in my reflections...thanks to all of you, customers and staff, without you all this dream doesn't go.
