A large coffee at your fave place probaly costs around $5. Meanwhile, the median price of a home in the United States is around four hundred thousand dollars right now.

That means if you skipped one coffee per day, you could save up enough cash to buy your dream house in....just over two hundred and nineteen years.

This is why I think it's pretty dumb advice to tell people to skip out on simple luxuries to save for a house. The math just doesn't add up.

It's better to focus on the BIG things in your budget (car payment, always paying your credit card, student loans) than to worry too much about buying a coffee.

Sometimes the little things in life are what keep us sane, so we can have the discipline to make responsible decisions on the big things!

Lots of goodies outside AND inside the Cuero Municipal Library today 🥰

Gathered on Main has their garage sale going on under the pavilion, and I've already snagged a couple great pieces for the new shop 🤩 Come hunt for some goodies!

I have extra bottled lattes for a first come, first serve basis.
Can pick up curbside at the library until 12. Or pickup/delivery in Cuero from 12-1. Anything outside of that just message me and we'll figure something out.
