Come make cards for seniors in need this holiday! 🌈 We will have this card making station up so that while you’re waiting for your to-go items, you can create a card that will go to our senior friends who are in nursing homes and don’t have family this holiday season. Together we really want to lift their spirits and the intention behind making a home crafted card will do just that. If you don’t have time to make them at our store, you can make them at home with your families and drop the cards off at the restaurant and we will mail them in. We know that this community has such huge hearts and so much love to give so we’re excited to share that with the rest of the world! ❤️💕✨ These will go to a non-profit called Gifts of Light and will be shipped to Georgia. This is a nonprofit that Heather and Jenny have been personally contributing to for many years and thought it was time to bring the group together to also bring joy!

If you want to organize your own card making party here are more details!

Through Cards of Light, volunteers create handmade cards or write heartfelt messages inside store-bought cards for elders in nursing communities. These thoughtful notes remind residents that someone is thinking of them, and we have a very big need for holiday cards right now! This would be a wonderful project for families and children. We think there’s no better time than learning while you’re young that you must carve time out of your life to do for others. ❤️

We are open today 🪴 and excited to get you some very beautiful pollinator friendly plants, 🦋 including Primrose, which is blooming yellow flower today! This initiative was started when we opened our doors three years ago and we’ve given thousands of plants to our customer base creating a healthier ecosystem for our bees, butterflies, moths, hummingbirds, and other pollinators. One and every three bites of our food is because our pollinators and we must keep their populations growing and thriving. Thank you to the South Bay Parkland Conservancy for being the most devoted partner in all this. Your positivity and enthusiasm and your hard work make this a beautiful partnership.
