Join us at an event on Saturday, June 27 in Custer for the release of Bark the Beaver Helps the Black Hills Thrive, a children's book written by BHACF's own Eric Zimmer to support the mission of the Black Hills Parks & Forests Association.

A fun itinerary for your family:
🍃First, visit State Park for a hands-on education event with Hills Watershed Collaborative all about riparian restoration.

🍕Afterward, head straight for the Black Hills Parks & Forests Association's office for pizza and a book reading by the author and illustrator.

🦬Head back into the park to view the wildlife before visiting a local restaurant in downtown Custer for dinner.
