🤍 Hey, Front Porch Family. 🤍
I know I haven’t been as active lately with sharing new bakes, running specials, or promoting preorders like I normally do. And if you know me, you know that’s not like me! 😂 But there’s a reason for the quiet, and I wanted to take a moment to share a little bit of what’s been going on.
The last week has brought a lot of changes to our home. Some good, some hard, and all of them requiring an adjustment period. There has been a lot of time spent in prayer, a lot of time in the Word, and a lot of trying to slow down, be present, and make sure my babies are doing okay through all the changes. Right now, my focus has to be on taking care of my family, taking care of Chris, and making sure I’m taking care of myself, too.
I know I serve a mighty God. I know He has a plan, even when I can’t see the bigger picture or understand why things are happening the way they are. So, for now, I’m giving myself permission to slow down, lean into Him, and trust that He will guide us through this season. 🤍
With that being said, Front Porch Flour Co. is NOT closing! 🫶🏼 I’m still here, and I still have so much planned for this little business that I’ve poured my heart into. I just can’t say exactly when I’ll be able to get back to being fully present and all-in the way I have been.
For now, preorders will remain open, with two pickup days available. I’m also still working toward getting our farm stand finished and up and running! We had hoped to have it ready last week, but with everything that has changed at home, that project had to take a backseat for a little while. We’ll get there! 🏡🌾
I also want to say thank you to everyone who has reached out, checked on me, sent messages, and continued to support our little bakery. Your kindness means more than you know. I may not always have the time or energy to respond right away, but please know that I appreciate every single one of you.
Right now, being a mama, a wife, and a child of God who is seeking His direction has to come first. I need time to pray, listen, learn, and trust Him with the things I can’t yet understand.
If you think of us, please keep our family in your prayers. For peace, for wisdom, for strength, and for God’s will to be done in our home. We’re taking things one day at a time and trusting the One who sees the whole picture when we can only see a small piece of it.
Thank you for giving me a little grace in this season, Front Porch Family. Thank you for loving and supporting us, even in the quieter moments. I’m trusting God with the timing, and I believe there is still so much good ahead. 🤍
With love and gratitude,
Brooke
