Looking back down memory lane is always a little magical. ✨
Thirty years ago, Cris Barreiro started Potpourri of Silk as a wedding and quinceañera cake shop, pouring her creativity, talent, and heart into every celebration. Over the years, Potpourri has grown and evolved—from cakes to lunch, and now to the little yellow teahouse where we gather over afternoon tea. While so much has changed, one thing has always remained the same: our love for Oak Cliff and the people who have made this journey possible.
To our family—thank you for the countless hours, unwavering support, and love you’ve poured into Potpourri through every season. And to our wonderful customers, whether you’ve been with us since the cake shop days or just discovered us over tea, thank you for allowing us to be part of your celebrations, traditions, and everyday moments.
