I recorded this video back in May, following a weekend of shootings. Sadly, here we are months later, and nothing has changed. It’s time for the City and its leadership to stop pointing fingers at Deep Ellum businesses and start taking accountability by developing and implementing real, actionable strategies to address the violence.
Deep Ellum deserves better. Its businesses, employees, residents, and visitors deserve a safe environment. Enough blame shifting. It’s time for real solutions and meaningful action.
