A high-volume, full-service restaurant is seeking experienced line cooks to join the team. This is not an entry-level position. Applicants must be able to work independently, manage prep throughout the shift, and perform in a fast-paced kitchen without constant supervision, direction, and micromanaging.
Minimum Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of recent full-service restaurant experience REQUIRED
• Prep experience is REQUIRED
• Experience working multiple stations on the line
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, labeling, dating, and product rotation
• Ability to work with urgency while maintaining quality and consistency
Applicants Will NOT Be Considered If:
• Your experience is primarily fast food
• Your experience is primarily nightclub
• You require constant direction on what needs to be prepped
• You wait until product is completely gone before communicating it
• You avoid prep work during slow periods
• You struggle to work under pressure in a high-volume environment
• You have difficulty accepting coaching, direction, or accountability or complain without any resolutions
What Is Expected
• Prep is expected throughout every shift whenever business slows down.
• Product levels should be monitored continuously. Running out of items without communication is unacceptable.
• Stations are expected to remain clean, organized, stocked, and service-ready at all times.
• Team members are expected to communicate, work with urgency, and support the kitchen as a whole.
• Reliability, punctuality, and consistency are essential. Scheduling decisions are based on dependability and overall job performance.
