Cooper's Reunion Party Saturday April 26th hosted by Daniel Cooper. The last Sat. of April @ the American Legion Post 81, 418 E. Red Bird Ln., Duncanville, TX. 75116. The old Cooper's on Cockrell Hill Rd. is where I used to hold by annual B-day party.
Daniel has booked the band called "Wait A Minute" They are a classic rock band of which 3 of their 6 members were part of the "Bedford Alley" band which has played at Post 81 in the past for the Western Park Palooza parties & in the DFW area for 20 years. The band is scheduled to start playing between 8:30-9PM w/ 3 sets up to 12-12:30AM. The Coopers FB page is still having some issues, but continue to use it & my page to spread the word.
Daniel is providing some food for the guests to snack on from 6-8PM until its gone. If there is food left over he will share it with the rest of the Post members in the canteen. We are asking everyone to refrain from smoking in the Legion Hall during the party. You can smoke in the Canteen area or outside on the back patio. Everyone that enters the Post will be required to sign the Legion Guest Book. If you are a member of the American Legion Family at any post sign under MEMBER & add your Post's #, all others please sign under GUEST on the right side of the page. There will be a sign in book in the Hall for the party & always in the Canteen when you visit the Post. please remember that we are all guests of The American Legion Post 81 & please respect the Legion rules of conduct when on the property. I will be making some announcements during the event on some particulars but we want everyone to have a great time & celebrate the good ole days at Coopers Bar & Grill with your friends & the Cooper family. All adult beverages are to remain inside the building or on the closed in patio per TABC.
Please remember to add a head count if you are coming as we need a head count for seating arrangements, food prep., beverages & staffing for this get together.

FYI - some people have already booked rooms at the Hilton Garden Suites at I-20 & Main St. Duncanville one mile away. There is also a Hampton Inn next door.
