Building something of your own will test everything about you and what kind of person you were and who you are becoming

You’ll pour into the wrong people. You’ll trust the wrong rooms. You’ll stay loyal to things that were never truly loyal back.

I know because I’ve lived it in various ways.

But I’ll be completely honest, if there’s one thing I am quickly becoming good at, it’s learning to be okay with discomfort, and sit with those feelings and experiences. I get the chance to figure out the lesson I’m being taught. It has always been a ticket to what I need to learn, to pay attention to, and how to do better, be better because at the end of the day you can grow flowers or you can grow w**ds

One major takeaway I’ve found so much value in learning, is that your emotions are not directives but they are in fact invaluable pieces of data that you need to examine and use to become stronger. The exhaustion, the dread, the resistance, that’s your discernment speaking. And the opposite rings true as well, the alignment, the excitement, the people that pour into you without having to ask.

If you’re stuck, burned out, or questioning everything, take a moment to collect your data and see what it’s trying to tell you. At the end of the day you have to protect your energy like your business or life depends on it because it always does and not shy from the discomfort

Now ask yourself, do you want to be a flower or a w**d? And water accordingly ☕️
