A. Renting to tenants who do not carry a renter's insurance policy. The pitfalls and exposures presented.
B. All peril deductibles, hurricane deductibles, wind/hail deductibles & wind/hail exclusions.
C. The good and bad of ownership type of the property (personal name, trusts and LLC's) when it comes to the insurance marketplace.
D. Possibly self insuring the property exposure, but ALWAYS insuring the liability exposure.
E. Actual cash value and replacement cost settlement issues and co-insurance clause.
F. Roof age and other updates to properties in the insurance marketplace.
G. Q&A session- freeform format
Little biography: He has been in the insurance business for just under 30 years-- both at the agency owner level and the corporate level (underwriting, underwriting management, staff legal department and State Manager )(responsible for our (4) states for another insurance company on the property & casualty side of the operations). He is a local boy who grew up in Ormond Beach and Port Orange and went to Spruce Creek High School and then FSU.
