🥣Our Monthly State of the Soup Post🥣
One of our challenges is that we don’t require a subscription to buy our meals. So reminders through ads and emails are necessary to remind you, our customers, to come back and order more. Orders mean we stay in business!
We’re still struggling to make it - we love what we do, what we offer is unique, and we love the overwhelmingly positive response to our food and service. But the struggle is real: every week we have to pick and choose which bill gets paid and which doesn’t. We work 7 days a week, average over 80hrs/wk each (plus parenting, woof), so there isn’t time for jobs on the side to make the ends meet. Here’s some reality for you: an example of some of our monthly bills JUST for the store, excluding home bills - $6,000+ on groceries, $3,300 on rent, $800 electric, $400+ gas, $1,000+ advertising, $600 mandatory hood cleaning, and WAY more beyond that. This is the reality of it.
We’ve supplemented online sales with more markets and popups, but online sales is the ONLY thing that will keep this ship afloat. So here’s your reminder: if you love our food and want it, place an order! And THIS WEEK gets you FREE Tomato Soup with every order.
