Hydration Station Lemonade

Someone had asked us to create an Amazon wishlist.. this list contains things we had previously purchased (the coin flooring, and bucket of adhesive) to finish the lemonade trailer. A couple refrigerators would greatly help as well.

The rest of the list is things that we keep missing at the store, or will be needed soon. If you feel led to make a purchase for us, please let us know in some way, as we will be adding and checking things off as we go as well.

Thank you to everyone who has made this process so much easier. We see God working through each and every one of you, and we are so grateful for EVERYTHING! 🍋💛

Last scene photos, you can see where the wire started arcing, and it left a perfect circle of carpet. Didn’t even stain the stickers on the bottom of the lamp. Definitely makes you rethink what is plugged in around the house.

We finally got around to going through the bins that Randi dropped off for us, perfect sizes and styles for both of us. Shoes, cups, blankets, socks, and clothes for all weather!! Thank you the blessings. 🙏

Yesterday after church we visited with Susan Ogden-McKee who let Rikki shop a closet and found some clothes as well as brand new shoes for Rikki to go back to work in! Thanks so much Susan! 🫶🏻.

With everyone’s help we will get through this, and we will be with NBHA TX 15 (National Barrel Horse Association - Texas 15) / EASY Barrel Racing for life! Thank you all so much.

Boots, boots, and more boots. Today was full of little blessings! Let’s start at the beginning, Megan Hughes and I were on the phone when Larry’s new work boots arrived.. she immediately started waterproofing them so Larry can get back to work soon. I got puppy love from the cutest champion puppy, he was sweet as pie (I wonder where he gets that from 😉) and soft as velvet.

We were able to get in the house, it’s almost unrecognizable.. except for our bedroom. The funniest things were saved. Larry was able to determine where his lunchbox was and found keys that still work for his work truck. We salvaged a couple metal wall hangings today (one a cross made of horseshoes 🐎) and found more to retrieve later.
The funniest of things were mostly untouched. Including my favorite boots (does anyone think they’re worth saving?), quite a few toiletries and even Larry’s beard trimmer. We truly believe these items were saved because we always closed our bedroom door.. it just shows you how some doors are open for a reason and some are closed for a reason.

We will be at the property (347 Latham Ln Rhome) for a while this afternoon, Larry is going to be hooking up temporary water for the pigs and the fifth wheel so that as soon as we get our electric permits from the city of New Fairview, and then a new meter installed by the electric company.. we can be back “home” to begin the next processes. If anyone wants to drop off small donations.. limited space at this time. Come on by.

I forgot to mention the biggest blessing yesterday. The fire investigator was able to retrieve my engagement ring!!! I didn’t wear it everyday because of all my activities both as a “Lemonade Lady” and “Esthetician Extraordinaire”… but best believe she’s not leaving my finger now!

Update for today. It’s been a long day. We finally got the final fire report.. a crimped wire inside a floor lamp. The lamp was plugged in but not on, please unplug your unused devices and accessories.
We enjoyed a lovely meal and conversation with the family of Kristen, Dylan, and our little Lanelee. They had a smorgasbord of finger foods and goodies, campfire cooking just like good times.
We have been on high functioning activity mode since 10/16.. and honestly we are exhausted.
We had to make the tough decision to cancel our softball tournament tomorrow. Those of you who were going to join us, we apologize.. but I think Larry has finally run out of adrenaline. We both have really. Please understand this was a VERY tough decision!! But even on the 7th day God rested and we’ve gone eight. Love yall
