It's that time of year when you need coffee to get through the week AND to keep your hands warm at the football game. 🏈🍂

We're not complaining, though. Fall in Northwest Ohio is pretty hard to beat! 🤎

Don't forget! 🎃☕️

We've got a little treat planned for the kiddos this Thursday, October 29th... FREE hot chocolate at Southside! 🤎

Our Southside baristas will be handing it out from 4–7 PM on Trick-or-Treat night!

Kids only, one per child, and Southside Cabin only.

We want to see those costumes, too! 👀🍬

We have a confession. 😂

Some of you are known by your car before we even see your face.

And there's a pretty good chance your drink is already being made before you've finished ordering. ☕️

One of our favorite things about Southside is how well our baristas get to know the people who come through that window. The familiar faces, the conversations, the kids growing up in the backseat... all of it. 🤎

So we're curious... do our baristas already know your order?

🎃 Happy National Pumpkin Day!

At this point, we've talked about pumpkin so much this fall that it probably deserves its own employee badge. 😂

BUT... we couldn't let today go by without celebrating!

So tell us, which of our pumpkin drinks has been your favorite this year?

☕️ Meet Natalie! 🤎

Natalie is one of our newest Southside baristas. She's a student at Defiance High School and also takes college classes part-time.

When she's not at school or working at the Cabin, she loves reading, photography, worship music, and spending time with friends and family.

Her favorite Cabin drink? The Grizzly Grog!

One thing she didn't expect when she started working here was just how much there is to learn and memorize! 😂 She also loves seeing how our baristas know some customers so well that they can start making their drinks before they even order.

And a little fun fact from me... Natalie is actually my best friend's daughter! So I've had the joy of knowing her long before she ever became one of our baristas. 🤎

Next time you're at Southside, say hello to Natalie!

Pretty sure we're officially entering the season of hot coffee in the morning and iced coffee by the afternoon. Maybe the fall weather is here to stick around... until winter eventually shows up. 🍂

Good thing our Southside team has you covered either way!

EIGHT YEARS of Southside Cabin! 🥳☕️

It’s a little crazy to think that we opened Southside back in October of 2018!

Since then, we’ve survived a global pandemic, toilet paper shortages, coin shortages, supply chain issues, rising prices, Ohio weather, and more school morning drive-thru lines than we could ever count. 😂

We’ve watched kids grow up, learned to recognize customers by their cars, heard “I’m going to try something different today” followed by their exact same order, and made more coffee than I could ever begin to imagine.

We’ve had some amazing baristas come through our doors, made friendships we never expected, and gotten to be a little part of your everyday lives.

And through all the craziness of the last eight years, you’ve kept showing up. 🤎

Thank you for choosing our little coffee shop, supporting our team, and giving us eight years of memories.

Happy 8th Birthday, Southside Cabin! 🎉

Someone's gotta be in charge of the drink order before everyone piles into the car. ️

Defiance takes on Lima Bath tonight, and if you're making the trip, swing through Southside and grab your favorite coffee (or Lotus!) for the road!

Safe travels, Bulldog fans! 🏈
Go Blue! 💙
