After a memorable season together, we will be taking a brief winter break at , with our last day of service for the season on January 3rd, as we begin a behind-the-scenes kitchen renovation and reopen in May of 2026.

The Pheasant will be open extra days leading up to NYE
12/29 12/30 12/31 1/2 and 1/3

What matters most is not changing. The farmhouse character, the warmth, and the spirit will remain the same. The kitchen has not been updated in many years, and this work supports the long-term care of the space and your experience with us.

In the meantime, we would love to invite you to visit our wine bar, Baleine, right down the street, as we debut our new daytime café mid-January. Our Pheasant team is simply moving over, and we cannot wait to welcome you into a new morning ritual for our same community.

With love,
Erica & Adam

We’d love to introduce you to a new addition to our by the glass offerings, the 2023 Vino de Los Ranchos Pinot Noir from

The wine is a blend of 3 separate picks from the organically farmed Rancho Ontiveros Vineyard located in the Santa Maria Valley AVA.

The wine was fermented with native yeast and bacteria, using 33% whole cluster. The wine aged for 7 months in old french oak barrels and was racked the first time to bottle, unfined and unfiltered, with minimal sulfur used.

Lots of layers and complexity on this one. Think candied cherry, juicy cranberry, and earl grey tea leaves as well as mushroom and earth.
