Long time no post! 😩 2021 has been an incredibly difficult year for me, and I want to thank you all for your patience! We are less than a week away from moving to Colorado, which means the end of Kara's Bake Shoppe in Texas. I can't tell you how much I appreciate all the love and support for my business over the past decade. I will miss Denton more than I can say!

I have a very limited amount of Christmas cookies, cocoa bombs, and chocolate pretzels available for pick up this week. I even have a few more cute Christmas cookie advent calendars that you still have time to countdown with if picked up today. Purchase in my online shop:

UPDATES!

Hello all! Long time no post! 😩 To say that the past few months gave been overwhelming would be an understatement. I have still been busy with orders, but terrible about keeping up with posting. So, I thought I would update everyone on a couple of important things:

1. BEST CONTACT METHOD: As many of you know, I am having nothing but trouble with messaging here on my FB page. Not getting alerts, not getting messages, and my new favorite, even having a chunk of conversation disappear. This is very problematic, given that the majority of my bookings are done through FB. I've tried to troubleshoot it through FB, but to no avail. And I know I'm not the only business owner having these issues. 😕

So, that being said, currently the best way to contact me is via email (karasbakeshoppe at gmail.com). I am working on updating my online order form on my website, and once that is fixed I will shift to only using that for booking. I apologize for all the chaos and response issues. But trying to keep up with booking orders through business FB, personal FB, email, text, phone, and my website is too overwhelming for me.

2. AVAILABILITY: I am currently booked for the month of May. I am still finalizing my summer travel plans, and am therefore not currently taking any orders for the summer. Once I have things figured out, I will update here.

👋 How is everyone doing after last week? While we had some long periods without power and water issues and internet issues, we were very fortunate to not have any burst pipes or damage. I know it was such a hard week for so many people. ❤ Today is the first day I've been able to try and get through messages, and I thought I'd share this fun little Texas A&M cake from last weekend.

Somebody had the Valentine's hot cocoa bombs marked as "Hidden" in the online shop, so they haven't been available for ordering (it's me, I'm somebody 🤦🏼‍♀️). I have this four pack of Valentine's flavors (red velvet, dark chocolate raspberry, salted caramel, and strawberry cheesecake), as well as others, available in my online shop.

Please note: I don't have a Thursday pick up time listed for the cocoa bombs. If you would like to add cocoa bombs to your Thursday pick order, just select Saturday pick up time and then make a note at check out.
