The Cattlemen's Beef Quarters was founded in 1985 to provide Iowa beef producers the opportunity to showcase their product at the Iowa State Fair. Our menu features Prime Rib dinners, roast beef sandwiches, various styles of hamburgers, taco salads and the famous Hot Beef Sundae, introduced for the 2006 Iowa State Fair. Breakfast is served from 6:30 AM-10 AM with all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage, eggs and drinks.

The holidays are fast approaching and we have the perfect gift idea for Beef Quarters fans!

You can purchase a beef certificate check from the Iowa Beef Council (515-296-2305) to use as a gift certificate at the Beef Quarters during the 2026 Iowa State Fair. Beef certificates can be purchased in $10, $15, $20 and $25 increments.

Brenda jumps in to help with the breakfast shift through New Hope Assembly of God as much as she can during the Iowa State Fair โ€” and we couldnโ€™t do it without her! Sheโ€™s a pro at mixing up pancake batter and tackles anything else thatโ€™s needed in between.

Sheโ€™s the key ingredient behind our All You Can Eat Pancakes, making them just right every time. Brenda is assertive, hardworking, caring, quick-witted, and intentional โ€” and she makes friends with everyone she meets.
