Yesterday we said goodbye to our Rocky 💙

He was my best boy and one of the great loves of my life. Our home feels empty without him. The last few days have been so painful, and I know that pain will stay with me for a long time. But I would go through it all over again to get 15 more years with our beloved Rocky.

If you've been paying attention you will have noticed that Coco's has made at least one goose themed cookie design at EVERY market this year! The cute white geese have always reminded me of my Grandma Irene- she LOVED her "blue ducks"- and I have loved thinking about her every time I made a new goose cookie design this year 💙

I've been so pleased to receive so many "silly goose" themed orders this year- how can you do anything but smile at these sweet and silly faces? I hope this trend never ends 😍

Who's ready to elevate their cookie decorating skills just in time for the holidays?? You've been asking for a while, and I finally have an *intermediate* level class ready for you!

The *Haunted Library* class is appropriate for those who have some experience decorating with royal icing. If you've taken one or two classes with me in the past, or feel confident about your ability to outline, flood, and do some simple piping, this class will be perfect for you. I've scheduled additional time for new techniques, more intricate details, and even 3-dimensional flowers!

I'm heading to Las Vegas this week, so maybe I'll still be your Cookie Lady when I get back, or maybe my plan to win all the jackpots will be a success and I'll just be the very eccentric rich woman you know who "used to make the best cookies for all of our special days." 😂🤷‍♀️

But really, I've never been to Vegas- so tell me all of your favorite things to do/see/eat there (along with your fool-proof methods for winning big!) I'll be back in the bakery on Tuesday and will respond to any requests that come in while I'm away then. 😘

Being a woman is not for the weak. And I’m in that “phase” of life I knew was coming, but I’ve discovered that I have been mislead about what to expect and was very unprepared. I’m so grateful that peri-menopause and menopause are being spoken about out in the open now. It turns out so many of my problems have solutions and I don’t have to just “deal with it” afterall. 👏🏼👏🏼

Also, when I say I can help make ANY occasion better with cookies too pretty to eat, but too delicious not to…I mean it. 😘
