We do accommodate parties of 20+ guests at our tea room. We may ask for a deposit based on the day acquired and the number of guests/meals ordered. This size of a party may be separated into multiple tables within the Ritz room to guarantee comfort and personal space for the guests. How do we order for a larger party? If you have a larger party, we do ask for the host to create a preorder for thei
r reservation to not only relieve the stress of ordering for a large crowd when you arrive but to also give the kitchen an idea of which foods to prepare prior to your reservation. Please call in preorders, do not email. Can we bring in our own cake or dessert? We DO NOT allow outside food; such as birthday cakes, birthday cupcakes, or other special treats. However, we do have a baker on staff that can create custom ordered cupcakes or cake for your reservation. Prices may vary. Is there is a gratuity added to a larger party? We do add an 18% gratuity of parties of 8 or more guests. Do you sell any merchandise or gifts? We do host a boutique here in our restaurant with a wide variety of hats, jewelry, teacups and more. How far in advance should I call and make a reservation? Our tables do fill up quickly so please understand that you may need to call a month or two in advance, if need be. Our teacup booth is our most popular attraction at our tea house. Weekends are busier than weekdays in regards to reservations but keep in mind that some seasons are busier than others. During the holidays can be especially busy so make your reservations well in advance. Do you sell TO-GO tea at the teahouse? We do sell our tea loose-leaf by the ounce, so you may purchase your favorite tea to enjoy at the comfort of your own home. What do I do if I need to cancel or reschedule a reservation? We do ask that if you need to reschedule a reservation, are going to be late to a reservation or for any reason can not make a reservation to please give us a call 24 hours in advance if possible. Thus we have many other guests who would gladly take your reservation. When is your latest seating? Although our hours say 11:00 am- 4:00 pm, at Linde Lane we feel that our guests will enjoy the full Linde Lane tea experience if they are allowed 1 hour and 30 minutes per reservation. With that being said, our last seating of the day is 2:30 pm. If you arrive after 2:30 pm we will only offer tea and scones from the kitchen. The kitchen will close shortly after the last seating at 2:30 pm. Do you offer your meals TO-GO? We do offer our meals TO-GO upon request. Do you offer hats that guests can wear while dining at the tea room? We do not offer loaner hats for your tea experience. The ones in our boutique are for purchase ONLY. You are however allowed to bring in your own or purchase one in our boutique prior to your reservation to wear. Which of the teas have caffeine and which ones do not? The Black teas, Green teas, Oolong teas and White teas all do contain caffeine. The Herbal teas and Roobios teas DO NOT contain caffeine. Do you accommodate guests who are vegetarian? We do have several options for those who are vegetarians, our Quiche De Jour, Cobb salad with no chicken or our Veggie Croissant sandwich. Our Royal Tea, Duchess Tea, Teddy Bear Tea option can also be changed to vegetarian sandwiches, if needed. We can not guarantee our soup will be vegetarian, our soups change daily and may contain a chicken/beef broth etc. Do you accommodate guests who are vegan, gluten-free or contain a food allergy? We do accommodate vegans and gluten-free, however there will be limited options on the menu to choose from. We do need to know this information, if possible, a week prior to your reservation to ensure we have the proper meals prepared accordingly. Why do you not allow pictures of the hats in the boutique? We do not allow pictures of guests wearing the hats because the hats belong to our vendors, so it is considered their property. Thank you for understanding. What forms of payment does your establishment take? We accept Cash, Visa, Master-card, Discover and checks. We no longer accept American Express.
