Wow! What another great market day!!
We are so thankful to everyone that stopped by and purchased yesterday! 🥰

Just a reminder, we will not be back at the Poplar Head Farmers Market until 6 June.

Pre-ordering for that market will open on the 30th May, and will close on the 2nd of June.

I also want to thank those people that donated money for some of my dried starter. 😊 This is Finch, a kitten in rescue with Kitty Kottage, and one of the precious little ones the money will be used for.

Our special bread is an amazing
English Ale and Cheddar Sourdough!!!
This loaf is made with an English Brown Ale from folklorebrewingdothan, and an imported English cheddar. For extra special taste, it also includes spent grains!
This is a hearty, earthy bread, perfect for a sandwich!! We only have 10 available!!

It looks like we may get some rain, but no fear, since we are under the Farm Center’s new covering!

This is a dear friend, and would greatly appreciate the support. Plus, the first 30 sold will include one of our Double D Chocolate Chip Cookies!!!

Renee Skipper, a Senior Animal Services Officer, received very difficult news that she had cancer. For anyone who knows about the battle with cancer, it takes many things. One of those things is money. While insurance will help, it does not cover everything. We are holding a fundraiser to raise money to help Renee on May 22nd in the Police Department parking lot. Come get a burger and chips to help someone who has served the citizens of Dothan since 1997.

Good morning!

I had several people ask about purchasing some of my starter. I have thought about this for some time.

So, I will have some of my dried starter available this weekend at Poplar Head Farmers Market. Just ask for Seymore. 😂😂😂

I’m not charging for it, but rather, asking for a donation, that will go to animal rescue efforts here in Dothan. So please consider that when getting some. ❤️

I will give directions to wake him up, and get him ready for baking, plus a quick guide on maintaining it. The rest is up to you. 😊

Good morning everybody! I’ve already started prepping for the farmers market this weekend, and thought I would share with you a photo of today’s project, doing some fresh milling of flour. This is corn milled for the Jalapeno Cheddar Bread. Fresh milling smells so wonderful!!
