Tonight was our very first ✨FAMILY MEAL✨ as a team.

(If you’ve never worked in a restaurant, you may not know what that means.)

Long before the first guest walks through the door, restaurants all over the world gather around a table to share a meal together. It’s one of the oldest and most meaningful traditions in our industry.

It’s where we slow down.

We check in.
We laugh.
We celebrate.
We solve problems.
We dream about what’s next.

Because if we want to take great care of our guests, we have to take great care of each other first.

Tonight wasn’t about food. It was about people.

About who we want to become.
About protecting the culture we’re building.

Every member of our team wrote down ideas. Not just about improving the restaurant, but about our culture, our purpose, our dreams, and how we can better serve ✨YOU✨ and our community.

Our goal has never been to be “just another restaurant.”
We want to be the place where people feel like they belong.

Thank you to our incredible team for believing in our vision and helping us shape what comes next.

Congratulations to Blake Bryant, the first ever first-round draft pick from Coffee County! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Behind every moment like this are thousands of hours that nobody sees: early mornings, late nights, missed weekends, extra reps, sacrifices from family, coaches who believed, teammates who pushed, and a kid who kept showing up.

Whether you’re a baseball fan or not, it’s hard not to be proud when someone from our little town gets the chance to chase a dream on one of the biggest stages in sports.

We’ll be cheering you on every step of the way, kid!

What if we told you our favorite week of the year is the one we’re closed?

Not because we don’t love serving you. Quite the opposite, actually.

Every notification this week has reminded us how incredibly blessed we are.

The phone still rings with people trying to place orders.
Orders are placed for pickup NEXT week. 😆
Messages keep coming in asking, “What’s on the menu?”
New 5-star reviews keep showing up…while our lights are off.

That’s a feeling we will NEVER take for granted.

This week isn’t just about resting.
It’s about remembering why we started in the first place.

We use this time to ask the hard questions:
What’s working?
What’s not?
Where did we miss the mark?
How can we serve our community even better when we come back?

Because “good enough” has never really been our thing.

We believe every burger, every conversation, every meal shared around a table can be a little better than the one before it.

So…while we’re making memories with our family, we’re also taking notes. Dreaming. Planning. Tweaking recipes. Rethinking systems. Talking about the next menu idea that might make y’all lose your minds. 😂

Thank you for giving us something worth coming back to.

Thank you for supporting a small family business so well that we can step away for a few days, breathe, and return with fresh eyes.

We’re grateful.
We’re rested.
We’re inspired.

And honestly…

We can’t wait to get back to Ashley Street and see all of you again.
