Well folks… with a heavy heart we wanted to update you on new developments. After closing down for the day, the attic fire managed to rekindle. We will be closed indefinitely while we work through the next steps in our journey. We want to thank you all for supporting us on this amazing adventure thus far and look forward to serving you in the near future ❤️

Shout out to DF Fire department for an amazingly rapid response completely extinguishing an attic fire before it got to the point of no return!!! Thanks to their skilled professional efforts the dream remains alive and intact!! We heard the trucks coming before we hung up the phone! Gotta love the support of a small town! We will be closed this week to coordinate repair efforts to get up and running again! Follow our FB page to stay posted on when we will be reopening!

Good morning!!! Our three year mark just passed December 21st, and we took a couple days to reflect!

Thank you so very much to this community for the continual support that does not diminish. We opened in a time of much uncertainty and thrived due to the unwavering support we’ve received from within this little town. 🤍 To our regulars, we see you, we know you, and we love you. Thank you for sticking with us, testing random food/drink specials, and never failing to put a smile on our faces. To our staff, thank you being the pillars of the restaurant. We are nothing without our staff, and they bring the food and environment to life .

We are so thankful for the opportunity to live out this dream within Dover-Foxcroft. Chew 62 was named so with the regard of Galatians 6:2, “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” Thank you, and we can’t say it enough. Enjoy this Christmas season.❤️
