How do we make a pour over?
We start by flushing the filter with hot water to get rid of any taste it might leave behind. Then we add fine grounds to the cup. We slowly pour hot water in a swirl until the grounds are completely covered. We then let it sit about 30 seconds as the beans release gas. Then we slowly add water as needed until you have a fresh, hot cup of coffee.

We get our Sumatra coffee from Cafe Kreyol. They are working with the people of Indonesia to save the animals and community of 350 smallholder farmers against deforestation.
