Today marks the beginning of something bigger than a business.

In 2023, Way Down Yonder Beignets & Coffee received federal trademark registration from the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
This wasn’t just about protecting a name.
It was about protecting a vision, preserving a legacy, and creating opportunities for future generations.

Many people are taught how to work a job, but few are taught how to build, protect, and own something of their own.

That is why we are launching the Way Down Yonder Legacy Foundation 25-Week Workforce, Entrepreneurship & Ownership Training Program.

Participants will learn:

✅ Entrepreneurship Fundamentals

Always remember, risks are necessary. They reveal what’s on the other side and expose lessons you needed to learn.

2017, sharing space in a food hub, just trying to make it work.
We didn’t have much…..but we had each other, a vision, and an opportunity.
And that mattered.
We grew into 2 brick & mortar locations, a food truck and then made the tough decision to pivot, because we learned the real value of ownership.

Through every high and every hard lesson, one thing stayed true:
Be thankful for what you got.
Because what you have right now?
It’s part of the process.
It’s building you, stretching you, and preparing you.

We didn’t start with perfect conditions.
We started with what was in front of us, and made it count.

That’s the heart behind the Way Down Yonder Legacy Foundation.
