Ohh, look at the calendar. it’s Rib Fest time again! Time to welcome back all the out-of-state BBQ vendors rolling into our community to set up, sell BBQ, and head back home a week later while local BBQ businesses who live here, work here, pay here, and feed our community don’t get a seat at the table.
No shade to y'all enjoying the music, the festivities and the fun all week(all love) bc we honestly love seeing our community out and having a good time! But it’s always been a little wild to us that a BBQ event right in our own backyard doesn’t make room for the local pitmasters who actually live, work, and smoke meats right here in town 🤔
So, while the out-of-towners are busy setting up their booths today, we'll just be over here doing what we do best—serving up real, authentic, smoked BBQ without the festival markup.
so if you want to spend your week standing in a two hour line for overpriced ribs, we get it, go get your festival on! But if you want the actual best BBQ in town from a crew that's actually part of this community, you already know where to find us. And now that JuneEats rated our brisket a 10/10, we’ll just say this…

The community alresdy knows
So while Rib Fest does its thing this all week, Pickabob Grill & BBQ will keep doing what we do — serving real BBQ, right here at home.
