Good Morning, I come to you with bittersweet (apparently old news) as most everyone knows by now that the blue angus is being sold. After nearly 16 mostly fantastic years, it is time to move on. The challenging events of the last two years have hastened our decision. We are so grateful that you enabled us to survive, unlike thousands of small businesses that did not. I first would like to thank all of you, our wonderful patrons, who have supported us over the last 16 years. We have made some wonderful friendships and hope to continue developing them in the coming months and years. I want to give a shout out to my partners, Andy, Randy, and Steve for bringing me in with them during our expansion. We had some bloody battles, but more laughs then in any other part of my life. Next of course is my family, to Lucinda whose strength and resolve is amazing!! She juggled the books and kept us afloat through the crisis of the last 2 years. Ariel, Nick, and my grandsons Noah and Liam, (2 nice Greek names, thanks Ari!) who reminded me of what the important things are in life. I'm looking forward to spending more time with the boys going forward. To my brothers Charlie and Evan who picked me up during the darkest times, and opened their checkbooks when we needed help. But I am concerned about how I'm going to fill the 60 hours a week I spent at the Angus. Any Ideas?? Finally to our incredible staff: Thank you doesn't come close to conveying the gratitude that Lucinda and I have for you, for sticking with us through the ups and downs of the last couple of years. To Cat, Phyllis, Carrie, Jackson, Olivia, Skyla, Michelle, Mike, Jaime, Dulce, and Brady we can never repay you for staying positive and keeping the doors open during Covid. So this Sunday, March 13th will be our last day, as we begin the transition from the Blue Angus to Don Titos Mexican Grill. Please support Gil and Monica Martinez in their new venture, starting in late April. The menu will be their take on Classic Mexican food along with some Angus favorites. We are talking about doing a customer appreciation night, so I'll keep you posted if we can pull it off. If any of you own any of the memorabilia we have please call me to set up a time to pick it up. 603-8181084. So it is not goodbye, but Au Revoir, or as my Dear Aunt Ann used to say " To be continued"......
