Hello everyone! We know we haven't posted in a while and wanted to give you an update. This will probably be our last post on this account.
Since we closed our doors physically in 2020, we've been trying to figure out how we can continue our entrepreneurial journey online, which included developing our Clever Cold Brewer and maintaining our online store. While we have made some good traction, we haven’t been able to figure out how to get things to the point where we could sustainably continue.
We will be shutting down our website (TheCleverBean.com) at the end of this month.
For Craton and I, our entrepreneurial journey is not over but understand that without the physical location of The Clever Bean, there may not be any good reason to continue paying attention to us and where we go next. If this is you, thank you so much for being you and for allowing us to pour our hearts out through drinks, food, and good conversations. We had some of the best times of our lives while the shop was open and buzzing.
For those of you who are curious about what we’re up to next and maybe want to continue to follow our unique (and weird) journey, send us a DM and we’ll be happy to let you know how you can tag along.
We are grateful to be alive and to continue to see how we can tackle the unknown future, which can often be scary but also full of possibilities. If we had a choice to go back, we would still open our coffee house again just to make the memories that we did and learn the lessons that we’ll be able to carry forward into our future endeavors.
