To Our Favorite People,
Stave & Still, very much by design, has been a second home to me, my family, and—if I did my job right—to some of you as well. My vision for Stave & Still was never to be just a “restaurant.” In fact, I adamantly resisted the evolution from a cocktail lounge with light fare into a full-service restaurant—but you all won that battle. Thank you for pushing me to grow with you.
From the beginning, my hope was to create a place where friends and family could meet, reconnect, make memories, and feel truly at home. Over the years, countless memories have been made within these walls, and I hope to hear many of your stories in the coming weeks.
I’ve learned so much from our guests, formed lifelong friendships, and watched my children and family grow with—and because of—Stave & Still. This place has shaped who I am today. I, too, have grown and evolved with every experience here. One of the biggest takeaways from this journey is that life is what you make of it—and you should never shy away from an opportunity.
Opening Stave & Still has been an incredible chapter in my life. But now, I’ve checked that box. I’m ready to focus more deeply on my family, watch my children write their own stories, and prioritize my personal well-being. It’s time for my next adventure—whatever that may be.
It feels only right to honor the beginning: August 1, 2020—the day we opened our doors. That day was full of adrenaline, passion, panic, and hope. Now, nearly five years later, I’m announcing that August 1, 2025 will be the final day we welcome guests to Stave & Still. I expect it to be a day filled with laughter, tears, stories, and—once again—hope.
Until then, we’ll be open Thursday through Saturday nights at 5 PM, leading up to our final night on August 1, 2025. We kindly ask that you make reservations or drop us a note so we can plan accordingly.
I can’t wait to see all of you, hear your stories, and celebrate what we’ve created together. Please be patient with us during this transition—Stave & Still has been our entire world for the past five years, and though change is necessary, it’s never easy.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart—for everything.
You will always be our favorite people.
