Sturbridge Coffee Roasters opened in 2004 in historic Sturbridge, MA, in a small space where beans were roasted and delicious coffee drinks were served to locals and tourists. We quickly discovered that our customers also wanted a place to relax with their coffee, which led to the relocation 5 miles down the road to our present location in Southb

ridge, Mass. Here, we are able to provde not only those same exceptional freshly roasted beans, but also additional seating and light lunches. In August 2014, the business was sold to the current owner and coffee lover, Elvis Dyer. We plan to expand our bean offerings to provide opportunities for coffee lovers to experience new flavor profiles and beans from around the world.

PSA. We are about to run out of Black Gold for a short while. I know. WTH!!! Some of you may have said something worse …. I have been out of Sumatra for a couple months. Harvest is finally in and I can buy in the next week. Then I have to wait for shipping. They haven’t been incredible lately. Then depending on when it comes in I’ll need to roast it. There are not enough in the store to run on it. But I do recommend these 3 or so weeks you try Costa Rica Dark, Colombian Supremo Dark or maybe Ethiopian Yirgacheffe dark knowing the Black Gold will be back. Thank you for understanding. And loving the black gold this much. Me too.

On a 90 degree day when you have to roast, you get up early, you go in early and you sweat it out for the love of the craft. No ac in roastery!!! But in the stores it should be comfortable and the cold brew is a plenty. Grab your self of a mocha cold brew. Stay for a while. Relax and enjoy. Maybe a breakfast or lunch Sammie too. Stay cool today!

Come on down to the Rapscallion Farmers Market in Spencer. Karen and I have hot coffee, cold brew, pounds, decaf, Italian sodas, Red Bull infusions, and iced tea. Come enjoy the breeze and cool down with us in Spencer.

Definitely becoming a beach day. Whew just got hot and humid out here. But if you aren’t going to the beach come hide from the heat at either of our locations. Dudley and Charlton We aren’t in Sturbridge - ‘Cept for the Sturbridge Farmers Market (and Micknuck's Fresh Marketplace as well as Whoopie-doo and Cupcakes too). We have a lot of hot equipment but our ac can handle the work load. Come be cool at SCR but stores at a comfortable 69 degrees.

Happy 4th of July. We are closed today. I am a big fan of Independence Day. Freedom. People’s rights to “Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.” And of course fighting tyranny and protecting everyone’s rights whenever someone or a group try to hold us down or control us for their benefit. Proud American here. Happy 250th everyone. While we aren’t a perfect country we are a great country. Have a wonderful day with your friends and family. Or in quiet peace like I plan. (We did the family thing yesterday ) cheers to the stuff that matters

Hi everyone. We will be closed on Saturday to celebrate 4th of July and our 250th. So I recommend today you stop in for a breakfast or lunch (yes we do lunch too) Sammie. A delicious cold brew or maybe this crew inspired Frozen blue raspberry lemonade. Grab a pound or two for tomorrow and beat the heat with our wonderfully comfortable air conditioning. Cheers to what matters.

It’s gonna be hot as hades today. But we will be open. AC is keeping the stores at 70 nice and cool. And the crew is in and ready to make your visit cool and delicious. While the heat is harassing the AC will be blasting.

We are in Sturbridge all weekend. Today celebrating the 250th with the town America250 Sturbridge, Mass. Great turn out. Great day with the peeps. We have all our farmers market liquids and here until five. Come on down and celebrate our countries anniversary .

No Southbridge pop up tent today. Crew is all working in store. With an abundance of cold foam for you. Stop in Charlton and Dudley and visit them. While you won’t always recognize some of the faces I promise most of them have 2-3 years scr discipline, skill and knowledge. And while I am at it we are looking for one or two more weekend people for long term in Dudley and a full timer for Dudley long term. If you are the right person you too could do this with us for 4,5,6 and even more years.
