Another big step forward at The Overlook today.

Corey’s Concrete was back at it this morning before the rain moved in, and part of the slab under the pergola is officially poured.

This is the stage where you can really start to see it coming together. Not long ago it was broken concrete, dirt, and a whole lot of mess. Now the patio space is taking shape.

If the weather cooperates the rest of the week, we’re hoping to have the concrete work wrapped up soon.

Thanks again to Corey’s Concrete for keeping things moving, and thank you to everyone for working around the mess while this project comes together.

Happy Father’s Day from all of us at The Overlook!

We just wrapped up one of our busiest Sundays ever, and we’re incredibly thankful for everyone who came out today. The golf course was busy, the restaurant was busy, and you all just about cleaned us out of food.

That’s a good problem to have, and we appreciate the support more than you know.

Thank you for your patience, thank you for spending part of your Father’s Day with us, and thank you for continuing to help us build The Overlook into something special.

We’ll get restocked and ready to go. See you all on Tuesday with another round of great specials!

There’s a small white dog, possibly a poodle/Maltese mix, wearing a red collar, loose on the course this morning. It ran down hole #5 and into the ravine, and we can still hear barking down there.

We can’t get close without it running farther off.

Someone has to be missing this dog. Please share so we can help get it home safely.

Things are moving fast at The Overlook.

Yesterday was demo day. Today, Corey’s Concrete took over the next phase of the patio project.

They dug the footings and piers for the perimeter pergola posts and got them poured... all in the same day.

It may still look like a big mess right now, but this is the kind of progress that starts turning the vision into something real. Step by step, this patio and pergola space is starting to take shape.

A huge thank you to Corey's Concrete, LLC for jumping in and keeping the project moving.

Please excuse the construction mess around the clubhouse while we work through this as quickly as possible. We appreciate everyone’s patience and support as we keep improving Rolling Greens and The Overlook.

And yes, the job site supervisor is taking her role very seriously.

Big things are happening at The Overlook.

We officially broke ground today on the patio project... or maybe more accurately, broke concrete.

We were hoping to have the patio and pergola build done by now, but like most construction projects, the timing with events, weather, schedules, and everything else didn’t line up quite the way we hoped.

But today was a big step forward.

A huge thank you to Luke Delong with Harmon Concrete for taking the reins and getting the demo work done. We’re excited to start bringing this space to life and can’t wait to see what it becomes.

Please excuse our mess as we work through the construction as quickly as we can. We appreciate everyone’s patience and support as we keep improving Rolling Greens and The Overlook.

The Overlook food update

Unfortunately, The Overlook grill will be closed this weekend.

We’re still working through some staffing issues, and between today’s schedule and tomorrow’s Big Cup Youth Golf Fundraiser, regular grill service will be paused until Tuesday at 11:00 AM.

That said, we will still have hot dogs and Barn Again Lodge pizzas available. The pizza menu is shown here.

Everyone is also welcome to stop out Sunday morning for our free will donation breakfast and raffles starting at 8:30 AM. You do not need to be golfing to come up, eat breakfast, get in on the raffles, and support the youth golf program.

We’re sorry for the inconvenience with the grill. We know this is not ideal, especially on a busy weekend, and we appreciate everyone’s patience as we continue working to get The Overlook into a steady rhythm.

The good news is Funfest is happening downtown this weekend too, so there will be plenty of carnival food and local fun to enjoy.

Breakfast for a good cause this Sunday morning at Rolling Greens Golf Course.

We’ll be serving a free-will donation breakfast starting at 8:30 AM with bacon from The Durand Smokehouse LLC., biscuits and gravy, and scrambled eggs.

You do not need to be golfing to come up for breakfast or get in on the raffles. Proceeds support the Rolling Greens Junior League.

Come hungry, support the kids, and maybe win something while you’re here.

We picked up the bacon today, and we’ll be serving it Sunday morning during our free-will donation breakfast at the Big Cup Kickoff.

Breakfast will include bacon, biscuits and gravy, and scrambled eggs.

Even though the golf tournament is full, you do not need to be golfing to come up for breakfast, check out the raffles, and support the cause.

100% of the proceeds from the breakfast and raffles will go directly toward funding the Rolling Greens Junior League, which now has nearly 40 kids signed up.

Thank you again to The Durand Smokehouse, and to everyone in this community who continues to step up. This whole thing is coming together because of the support around it.

A little upgrade to our space at The Overlook.

Charlie from SuperSignMan did a great job with the new wall lettering, and it really helps the room feel more finished. We’re excited to keep bringing this space together, one step at a time.
