It is with a full heart that we announce our beloved Silvershell, my little piece of home, will fry its last haddock Sunday 2.9 Over the years we have loved every bite. It has been our true joy serving your kiddos their first oysters, teaching you all to shuck your own and attempting to get the lehigh valley to love NE steamers (without much success). We have forged amazing friendships, have been honored to have a front seat to celebrations and added cherished staff to our extended restaurant family. We have some tricks up our sleeve and will continue to occupy the soace in the . Stay tuned for rhe big reveal (hint includes oysters and alysha!) We are excited and look forward to hosting you on another adventure!!

The Story of Silvershell...

Erin Shea, a native New Englander who relocated to the Lehigh Valley over a decade ago with her husband and business partner, grew up two miles from Silvershell Beach in Marion,MA. She spent her summers splashing in the ocean and eating her fill of fried clams and steamers. Shea and Chizmar originally met while working at a restaurant in Boston and share a love for the quintessential cuisine of the Northeast.

Lee Chizmar, a previous James Beard Award-semifinalist, has created a menu reminiscent of a classic clam shack, while also elevating the offerings to take advantage of his supreme relationships with farmers in the Valley and top-notch seafood purveyors on the coast.

Menu items available at “the counter” for those on-the-go, will include a rotating selection of fresh fish, shellfish, soups as well as prepared meals to take home. The kitchen will focus on classic New England clam shack fare such as lobster rolls, fried clams, stuffed quahogs, steamers and freshly shucked oysters with signature housemade sauces.
