Get to know the comics who'll be at this week's Madison Comedy Showcase on Saturday!
Randy Miranda is a Madison-based comedian known for biting wit and sandwiches. Selected as a Fresh Face at Madison Comedy Week, Randy has opened for Sam Tallent, Chastity Washington, Jim Flannigan, and Chris Schlichting. He is a regular host, performer, and staff member at Madison’s nationally recognized Comedy on State. Off stage, he enjoys short walks to the fridge.
Known for her fearless honesty, infectious giggle, and delightfully chaotic humor, Breanne Wilhite has quickly become one of the Midwest’s most exciting new voices. Breanne has performed at top clubs across the Midwest, including Zanies Chicago, Laugh Factory Chicago, the Milwaukee Improv, and Comedy on State—where she’s appeared in the Best of the Midwest showcase and opened for national headliners Maddie Wiener, Reggie Conquest, and Kevin Bozeman.
Henry Evans has been doing standup comedy since he was just a wee 18 year old boy. Since then, he’s opened for Geoffrey Asmus, Josh Johnson, and he even won the 2026 Madison’s Funniest Comic competition. He’s also 5’10 and he’s not lying about that.
Craig Smith was born and raised in Chicago before moving to Wisconsin in his 20's. He spent most of that time pursuing a rap career before trying comedy when he turned 35. He was always into stand up comedy as a kid from ComicView to Richard Pryors specials. Craig went to his first open mic, got his first laugh and has been doing comedy every week since 2019. Craig is well known at Comedy on State and he goes on stage there pretty often as well as countless shows in places close to Wisconsin and Illinois. He’s hosted for a lot of comic's weekends over the years most notably Dan Soder, Robert Kelly, Big Jay and Joe List who he’s hosted for the most when he comes to Madison.
