Thanksgiving dessert, handled 🍂

Meet this year’s Thanksgiving ice cream cakes:
🍁 Maple Brown Butter Apple: maple brown butter ice cream with cinnamon apples and a crunchy streusel center
🎃 Pumpkin Gingersnap: pumpkin ice cream with a marshmallow swirl and a salted caramel gingersnap crunch center

Our holiday cakes got a glow-up this year: they’re taller, fully frosted, and serve 12 to 18+. Both are gluten-free and $60. Pre-order by Sunday, November 22nd, for pickup on Tuesday 11/24 or Wednesday 11/25 at the Edina shop. Link in our bio!

Last few days for October seasonals! 🍂

Thanks so much for being a part of our warm, busy October! Pumpkin Pepita Brittle and Black Sesame are still scooping through Thursday (while supplies last). We still have all four seasonal flavors in pints at the shop as of Tuesday.

We hate to say goodbye to these favorites, but they’ll be back next fall. Come get your last scoops and pints of the season!

Boo! This little marshmallow ghost is keeping watch over the scoop shop today. We’re opening early for the 50th & France Trick or Treat event - come by starting at 11am!

We’ve got festive Halloween sprinkles all weekend, so ask for some on any scoop. 🧡🖤

Need the perfect trick-or-treat flavor? Snicker Doodle (SD) is your favorite candy bar and a classic cookie in one scoop, with caramel, peanuts and teeny chocolate chips in brown sugar cinnamon ice cream. 🍫

Open today 11am to 9pm. Costumes encouraged!

Pumpkin Pepita Brittle (PPB) Flavor Spotlight 🎃

Here’s our secret: no pumpkin pie spice. Rich pumpkin with brown sugar, honey and a hint of brown butter, so what you taste is pumpkin itself: earthy, mellow and so cozy.

Then we make a pumpkin seed brittle and shatter it in for a sweet, salty crunch. It’s a gluten-free favorite for fall in a scoop!

PPB is scooping at the Edina shop, and available in pints, until November Flavor Launch on the 6th 🧡

Autumn Saturday plan: a fall affogato ☕️

A hot shot of espresso poured over a scoop of Cinnamon Roll. Pumpkin Pepita Brittle would be our other flavor recommendation! 🎃 (We have decaf espresso, as well!)

Tonight’s the night: the Diwali Celebration at 50th & France 🪔🧡

Come celebrate with the Edina Asian American Alliance on Nolan Mains Plaza, right outside our door from 6-8pm. Then stop in for a scoop of Vanilla Cardamom, made just for this celebration and here through Sunday only. We’ll also have some of our Chai Tea ice cream tonight (Friday) while supplies last!

From 6 to 8pm tonight, 5% of all Sweet Science sales go to EAAA - to help support this beautiful event and keep it going in upcoming years for everyone! Hope to see you tonight ❤️

October might be my favorite month at Sweet Science. The mornings get crisp, the trees put on their whole show, and the flavors in the case start to feel like a warm sweater. (Sweater weather is the best.)

My pick this month? Snicker Doodle, always. Peanuts and chocolate is one of my all-time favorite combinations, and this one has both, with caramel and cinnamon tucked in for good measure. It got us through the lockdown days when we first invented it, and it still makes me happy every fall when it comes back.

I’m so grateful for this team. Every scoop, every pint, and every cake that goes out the door this season is thanks to them. Stop in and say hi!
